Imagine heading down the road towards Mousehole, the sea shimmering at the end of the lane; turn off into the large, gravelled driveway shielded with bamboos from the outside world. The minute you leave your car you feel like you have entered a tropical paradise! Once you have unpacked your bags in the super-stylish and luxurious Summer House, sit out on the deck with a cup of tea whilst the children explore the garden. Once refreshed, wander down the lane from your holiday cottage to the picturesque village of Mousehole for drinks and dinner at The Old Coastguard Hotel.
Your days can alternate between lazy days, exploring nearby beaches; Sennen Beach, Porthcurno or Praa Sands, to name just a few, all within a 30 minute drive; book a surfing lessons or if the water is calmer then paddle board around the mount at Marazion. Alternatively, lace up the hiking boots for a stroll along the south west coast path; there are so many routes to choose from; or explore the historic towns; Penzance is only a few miles away, see our journal for good tips on what to do whilst you are visiting. From Penzance you can jump on the train and visit famous St Ives and the Tate St Ives or Barbara Hepworth museum and sculpture garden.
