I have stayed many times at Porth Nanven Cottage over the years. It is situated in a stunning position tucked under the coastal path, left to Sennen and right to Zennor, perfect for walkers. It is also near a small beach which is lovely for swimming at low tide. The house is comfortable and very well equipped with high quality bedding and furnishings. The Cot Valley is beautiful and quiet, except for birdsong. Another plus is the very friendly and helpful owners who live nearby. It is a beautiful place which I highly recommend.

A lovely property in a very peaceful, remote location. Ideal base for exploring west Cornwall and some lovely walks literally on the doorstep.
We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week there.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage! Very peaceful location, stunning landscape, perfectly positioned to explore the surrounding areas of interest. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated with lovely touches including welcome treats , beach towels and use of divine smelling toiletries! Would love to return again!

This was our second stay at the Cottage in Cot Valley and we weren’t disappointed.  The cottage is lovely and clean and there was a little food and drink surprise for us on our arrival.  The beauty of the area is amazing.  The walks are lovely and there are many birds of prey to look out for if that is your thing.  The sunsets at the dinosaur egg beach down the road from the cottage are beautiful.  There were no crowds, which suited us just fine.  Very child friendly accommodation and area.  We will be back next year for sure.

Excellent cottage, right next to the coastal path with amazing walks and a small beach 10 mins away. Views from the coastal path walks are unmatched, like walking into another world. Cosy when it’s raining, and beautiful when it’s sunny. Definitely recommend.

A true gem

Our first visit to this cottage and wonderful location, a true ‘Gem’.
After a long journey the cottage offered warmth and a welcome basket including treats for the dogs, we knew then this week was going to be special.
The walks from the cottage are fabulous and worth doing, really enjoyed walking to the Crown Mines. Another was driving to Porthgwarra and then walking to Land’s End, scenery spectacular. You can walk the opposite way also to Porthcurno passing the open air theatre.
Porth Nanven Cottage allowed us to de-stress, unwind, relax and for that I thank you.
