We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole Cottage. The location was perfect, within a stone’s throw of Mousehole Harbour with lovely views of the sea from the cottage. The cottage is excellent and very well appointed with everything you need, the welcome goodies were a nice touch. We stayed with our 3 year old and 1 year old and it was perfect. We enjoyed exploring, playing and swimming in the harbour, along with exploring local attractions and beaches. We’ll be back!

We had a great week in Mousehole Cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a warm, comfortable holiday including the finer details of a warm welcome and breakfast provisions. The location is wonderful with sea views on waking in the master bedroom and living areas. The off street car parking is a bonus as is an easy walk around the quaint, seaside village. The Ship Inn is an easy stroll for dinner serving fabulous food. Thank you Phay and Jon for our wonderful stay. Gina & Ed, Melbourne, Australia

Mousehole Cottage was absolutely beautiful and so near the sea I felt I could almost touch it; the views too were marvellous especially in the ever changing weather! The cottage had good parking, was well situated in Mousehole and extremely comfortable, well-equipped and warm. The Christmas touches were much appreciated; tasteful tree/decorations, welcome mince pies and bubbly too. Coast path minutes away and lots of interesting places to visit – St. Ives, Sennen Cove, Levant Mines, Marazion and St. Michael’s Mount, Trebah Gardens; also beautiful beaches and lots of coves. Thoroughly enjoyed the famous Mousehole Christmas lights. They were spread across the harbour, along the cliffs and even on the rocks in the sea. Many cottage windows were also illuminated with quirky Christmas scenes and the little shops/cafes stayed open until later in the evening. Such a lovely atmosphere. We were very reluctant to leave Mousehole Cottage but hope to return again one day.

From the gardens at the cottage and the hotel and bar next door we watched seals in the sea, the stars and dreamy sunsets. The cottage, which is set away from the busy area of Mousehole, made a great base for exploring the beach, harbour, pubs, cafes and coastal path just a couple of minutes away. After a long day on the beach or walking, the cottage is also a great place to chill, chat and plan the next day. St Ives and the Tate, Penzance and its Art Deco Jubilee lido as well as it’s fantastic fish and chips and hundreds of other wonders are all within a short drive. There’s a regular bus service, stopping right next to the house, but a car is definitely an advantage, as is having your own parking space outside the front door. The beds were comfortable for the five people, all adults, in our party, although the bunk was a slight squeeze for our 22-year-old son. Overall, the perfect place for your holiday or for any other stay!

A great stay at Mousehole Cottage, it had everything we needed for our family and dog. The location is perfect with sea views and only a 5 minute walk to the quay. Not having to bring any towels made packing easier and the parking space is really useful. Lots to do in the local area Porthcurno and Sennen beaches are stunning but unsurprisingly get busy so get there early. Telegraph Museum well worth a visit on a wet day. Minack theatre should not be missed, story telling sessions in the morning are good value but book in advance as regularly sell out in the summer. Enjoyed civilised drinks at the very convenient Coastguard Hotel next door and some excellent food at 2 Fore Street restaurant. Overall a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend the cottage and area to anyone planning a visit.
