A traditional, very pretty Cornish cottage tucked away towards the end of a short track but with easy access to the coast, footpaths and several nearby towns. Tivoli One is beautifully presented and recently extended, a real home from home and the perfect location for exploring the whole of West Cornwall. It’s the ideal choice for a family holiday, romantic getaway, walkers, surfers and dog owners.
Tivoli One is an extremely pretty Cornish cottage, set in a tucked away location near the village of Ashton. A perfect choice for anyone wanting to explore the whole of West Cornwall, Ashton is equidistant between Helston, the gateway to the Lizard peninsula, and Penzance, an historic harbour town and gateway to the rugged Lands End peninsula. The wonderful fishing village of Porthleven is only a few minutes away by car and the larger towns of Helston, Penzance, Falmouth and St Ives are all within a 30-minute drive.
Ideal for walkers and families, Tivoli One lies within easy access of Rinsey, a stunning headland with a gorgeous, dog friendly beach. From Rinsey you can pick up the wonderful south-west coastal path, heading east to Porthleven and onwards to the Lizard or west to the mile-long sandy beach at Praa Sands and on via Prussia Cove to Marazion and St Michael’s Mount. Sandy beaches for all the family can be found at Rinsey, Praa Sands, Perranuthnoe and Marazion, all within a 15-minute drive of the cottage.
A pretty flower-filled garden leads to the front of the house opening into a sun room with plenty of space for boots, coats and body boards; the sun room also houses a tumble drier. The front door leads into a spacious sitting room, with large inglenook fireplace (not for use by summer guests), exposed granite walls, sofa and 2 chairs, flat screen TV and DVD player. There are plenty of games and books available for the odd damp day. The sitting room leads down one step to a wonderfully spacious, recently extended kitchen / dining room. The kitchen is very well equipped and homely with large electric range cooker with ceramic hob, Belfast sink, granite worktops, large Smeg fridge, with freezer compartment, cookery books and plenty of shaker-style cupboards for storage. To the right is a further sitting area with sofa, large dining table comfortably seating 6 people and dresser. Double patio doors open out from the dining room onto a lovely private garden. At the end of the dining area is a further space with a second fridge-freezer, space for coats, a further door to the back garden and a small downstairs WC.
A wooden staircase leads from the sitting room to the first floor with three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom is at the back of the cottage with views over the garden, a spacious room with a king-size bed and large wardrobe. The second bedroom has views over the front garden with a double bed, chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes. The third bedroom is double aspect and is a wonderful children’s bedroom with new bunk beds, a children’s desk and plenty of children’s books. The family bathroom is at the back of the cottage, comprising a bath with shower over, basin and WC.
The cottage is accessed along a short dead-end track with dedicated parking spaces for two cars. There is a small front garden and larger enclosed rear garden backing onto fields. The garden is in two sections: to the rear of the dining room is a patio area and lawn with a further area laid to lawn to the left side of the cottage.

Inclusive electricity, central heating, TV with freeview channels and WiFi broadband. The house is fully cleaned before your arrival and all bed linen, towels (including beach towels) and the final laundry are included in the price.
Garden furniture and barbecue. Small shop & pub in Ashton. Nearby Porthleven has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Tivoli One is a non-smoking property. Minimum of 5 night stays available.
